We all have people in our lives that are absolutely impossible to shop for, especially during the holidays. But if you have a goth person in your life, it can be an extra challenge to find them a really unique gift that also aligns with their style sensibilities.

As a glam goth myself that is also super difficult to shop for, today I offer you my personal gift recommendations in hopes that this list might help you out as you shop this holiday season.

1) A jar of Magic Hour Tea

Magic Hour Tea is truly one of my favorite places to shop from right now. Not only is their huge selection of tea absolutely delicious, but also their blends come in gorgeous apothecary jars. The jars are both stunning and keep their tea fresh for a long time, and it makes brewing and drinking a cup of tea feel like a luxury experience.

With tea blends inspired by astrology signs and gemstones, and a wide array of bubble, wellness, herbal, black, green, oolong tea and more, Magic Hour truly has something for everyone.

2) Vampira bat sunglasses

I personally lusted over these La Femme En Noir Vampira Bat Sunglasses for about 2 years before I finally caved and bought them for myself and I’m so happy I did. These are such a beautiful recreation of the iconic sunglasses and, like everything else from La Femme, are excellent quality. These sunglasses would make such a beautiful and unique gift for the fashionista in your life, especially if they have a love for iconic classic glamour ghouls.

Even though these glasses come with a case and microfiber cleaning cloth, you could also pair them with La Femme’s Vamp Coffin Sunglass Case.

3) Dash Halloween mini waffle makers

These little waffle makers are so fun and adorable, we love pulling these out to make our occasional weekend brunches extra special. They are definitely mini, the waffle maker itself is only about 5” x 6”. You can either purchase the full set of 3 or buy the skull, spider web, or pumpkin individually.

4) A velvet coffin enamel pin board

While enamel pins (which also make great gifts!) are super fun to collect, sometimes it’s hard to know what to do with all of them. I absolutely recommend Lively Ghost’s beautiful coffin pin boards for the enamel pin collector in your life as a unique way to display their collection. These boards come in a variety of sizes and colors and they’re both beautiful and practical, which are the types of gifts that I’m always a fan of.

5) The Lucerna tea cup and saucer

Petals and Poison’s shop is filled with gorgeous drinkware, jewelry, candles, and tea inspired by both Victorian aesthetics and fandom. Their trademark pieces are these Lucerna teacups and saucers, and there’s even a full tea set to match! I have the full set (which I use all the time) and every piece is absolutely stunning and amazing quality. The cup and saucer (and any piece in the set) make excellent gifts especially because they already come wrapped in a beautiful matching gift box.

You could also pair the cup and saucer with this Haunted Hollows tea spoon or a “Mourning Brew” tea.

6) A snarky teacup

If the person you’re shopping for would appreciate something more edgy, Miss Havisham’s Curiosities has a huge collection of “insult cups.” These gorgeous china cups are customized with hilarious and brutal sayings and would definitely make a memorable present. I have one of their Belle de Nuit cups and can personally vouch for the craftsmanship and quality of these pieces.

7) One of a kind handmade stationary set

Crimson Hour creates the most stunning handcrafted stationary sets, including wax seals, envelopes, and paper. Each set is lovingly handcrafted and inspired by fandom or gothic vibes, and I’m just obsessed with everything Crimson Hour creates. I personally think the wax seals make such good stocking stuffers, too!

8) A gothic architecture mug

You really can’t go wrong giving mugs as gifts, and this gothic architecture mug adds a subtle bit of classic gothic glam to anyone’s home. You could even pair it with a box of fancy hot cocoa bombs!

9) A subscription to Christine McConnell’s Patreon

If you don’t know who Christine McConnell is, she’s Morticia Addams meets Martha Stewart, and her YouTube series “From the Mind of Christine McConnell” is one of the most inspiring and creative spaces on the internet. A Patreon subscription gives you access to exclusive episodes of her series (which are released monthly) where she shares home restoration projects, creepy cooking recipes, gothic sewing projects, and so much more. These episodes are honestly at the quality of tv you would find on a streaming service, and if the person you are shopping for loves crafts, baking, and home decor inspiration all with a dark twist, they would absolutely love being able to watch all the exclusive episodes. Higher subscription tiers also include extra goodies like downloads, instructions, access to polls, and gifts.

Patreon doesn’t offer the option to officially send subscriptions as a gift, but you could make an account for the recipient, provide them with the log in, and then end your subscription when you’ve reached your budget.

10) A book about the Victorian flower language

This beautifully illustrated guide to the language of flowers by Jessica Roux is both a handy reference and a lovely addition to your coffee table. I personally have always been a huge nerd about flower symbolism and meanings, and this book makes it easy to look up the meanings of specific flowers or bouquet arrangements. If you know someone who loves Victoriana or flowers, this would be a perfect gift for them.

11) Gothic Victorian tea cakes

I’ll be honest, I haven’t tried these myself yet, but GingerLilySweets has made the most stunning tea cakes I have ever seen in my life so I just had to add these to this list. They come in a variety of flavors and designs (you can choose one design or get an assortment), and you can get them gluten free or vegan as well. I will absolutely be giving these as a gift to myself this holiday season!

12) A spooky coffin message board

Letter boards are so fun and versatile; you can use them on a bar cart, in home decor, on a desk, in photography and more. These coffin message boards are a nice large size and include tons of letters and icons so you can customize them however you want. They also come with a couple drawstring bags to store the letters and board, and an easel to display it.

13) This dark floral 2023 calendar

Alyssa Thorne’s photography is breathtakingly beautiful, and I’m so excited that she’s compiled some of her pieces into a 2023 calendar. Her calendars are printed on high quality cardstock and there are two sizes available. This would be perfect to give someone the gift of gorgeous gothic art to add a touch of beauty to their office or workspace.
