I’ve loved Star Wars ever since I was a child myself, so maybe that’s why I immediately fell in love with The Child of Star Wars, the adorable Grogu (or Baby Yoda as he’s sometimes affectionally called) the second he first appeared on our tv screens just a few years ago. Grogu is such a fun and special character, his adorable noises and hilarious antics always bring a huge smile to my face and it’s partially why The Mandalorian is one of my favorite shows.

I love creating makeup looks inspired by my favorite characters, and I actually previously created a Grogu eyeshadow look in my blog 4 makeup looks inspired by the Mandalorian. However, since that was a couple years ago and my makeup skills have greatly improved since then, I really wanted to create another Grogu inspired eyeshadow and makeup look. I absolutely love how it all turned out!

Products I used for Grogu’s look

For the eyeshadow look, I used Colourpop’s The Child palette. This is one of my favorite palettes, I still use it regularly even after a couple years because the sage greens are just so unique and the formula is super good.

I used the shade Float Your Crib on the inner and outer corners and blended the middle and outside with Baby Face. I then placed Sipping Soup on the center of my lid, and applied Right Hand Mando on my inner corners.

For the rest of my face, I used the KVD Beauty Everlasting Refillable Blush in the shade Honeysuckle, as it’s a nice warm peach that I felt imitated Grogu’s inner ears nicely. I also used the Haus Labs Bio-Radiant Gel-Powder Highlighter in the shade Sunstone for a warm glow.

For my lips, I used the KVD Beauty Everlasting Hyperlight Vegan Transfer-Proof Liquid Lipstick in the shade Medusa’s Head. It’s such a nice swampy moss green and it reminded me of Grogu’s favorite froggy treats, so I couldn’t resist using this to complete the look.

If you want to lean more into Grogu’s browns along with his greens though, you could go with a brown nude lip. I unfortunately don’t have a lipstick in that color, so I went ahead and Photoshopped what that option could look like.

For the rest of my face, these are my favorite products that I use almost every day:

I hope you enjoyed this look and either replicated it or used it as inspiration to create your own Grogu inspired makeup! I also posted about my recent trip (and first visit) to Walt Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge over on my Instagram.

I don’t only create makeup inspired by Star Wars. I love making lots of looks inspired my other favorite shows and movies, too! Feel free to check out my 3 Hocus Pocus makeup looks inspired by the Sanderson Sisters or my Hocus Pocus 2 inspired makeup looks.
